We still live on and farm our original family farms—Ozburn Hollow Farm, established in 1806, and Osburn Farm, established in 1922—giving us a depth of local knowledge that can only come from generations of working the same land. Double O Land & Livestock was named for these two farms, representing a family tradition built on hard work, stewardship and trust. Today, we bring that same commitment to our customers.

Our hay program includes soil testing, lime and fertilizer applications, herbicide management, seed drilling, proper cutting and curing practices, forage testing, and careful storage.
The result is hay that is clean, well-cured, nutrient-conscious and carefully handled from field to customer.

We believe a great cow is the foundation of a great herd. Our replacement females are selected from cattle that have proven their ability to breed, calve, raise a quality calf and remain productive year after year. These are females developed in the pasture—not simply selected on paper.

We believe every youth exhibitor deserves the opportunity to show a high-quality animal without paying an inflated club-calf price.
Our show calves are bred, developed and managed with one goal in mind: to give young exhibitors the opportunity to compete at the highest level while providing exceptional value to their families.
Our calves have a proven record in the show ring, including CHAMPIONSHIP honors and PRIME carcass scores. We select for the combination of eye appeal, structural soundness, muscle, growth, disposition and carcass merit that it takes to compete—and win.
Show Calves
Our heifers represent the future of our program. We retain females from cattle that have demonstrated the traits we value most and offer select heifers to producers looking to strengthen their own herds.
Our heifers are developed with an emphasis on sound structure, growth, fertility, disposition, maternal ability and long-term productivity. We believe a replacement heifer should be more than impressive at sale time—she should have the potential to become a dependable cow that breeds back, raises a quality calf and remains productive for years to come.
Our Angus and Simmental genetics are selected with the commercial cattleman in mind, combining performance and maternal value with practical, functional cattle that can thrive in a working environment.
